Catherine W. Ng's main area of research is Women, Work and Organisation. Her studies include sex discrimination, women in management, women entrepreneurship, single working women, state feminism, women-friendly HRM, and equal opportunities for women and the disabled. She has published in the Asian Journal of Women's Studies, Feminism & Psychology, Women in Management Review, Equal Opportunities International, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, and the International Journal of Human Resource Management. A strong supporter of equal opportunities, she is active in various community and political groups, NGOs, and the Equal Opportunities Commission, in the capacities of chair, vice-chair, executive committee member, co-opted member, and ordinary member.
